Well princess G 🐦 is experiencing a heavy moult and would like the world to acknowledge her bravery. She would also like extra treats because moulting is very energy intensive and hurts

The dehydrated strawberries turned out well last weekend (they are still tempering).
Today from the kitchen... mangoes. I have enough fruit to fill my dehydrator! (With a few fresh morsels for me to taste, quality assurance is important!)
Apples, bananas, oranges, and some stone fruit hopefully during the week as there are different drying times and temperatures

Today my kitchen feature dehydrated strawberries
I saw some sweet christmas themed glass bottles to put them into
Mangoes are also reasonably priced at the moment, so I might (weather permitting) dry some of them during the week
That just leaves some preserves and waiting for the ferments and 90% of my Christmas gifts are done!

G 🐦 went back to the V-E-T for a checkup today. She is doing well. She was discharged with 4 months until the next checkup 😊
Today I made my first iced latte of the summer... yumm! It was just the thing for a hot sticky day!
