"On July 23rd, 1984, the song was recorded at the Flying Cloud Drive Warehouse in Eden Prairie with the entire band. The song was played and recorded live. After 21 minutes the tape was full and the band were still playing."

So yeah, I have like, 6 versions of this album, and this remaster is the best… so far. Vinyl comes later, so we’ll see if I like it better.

The soundstage is so much larger than most other versions I have, and a noticeable difference in the closer versions. Personally, I like wide and deep stages with space around the instruments. The finger cymbals in Paisley Park ring so clear.
